The Style Line x Le Style Child x PUMA II

“This nautical inspired flat has just the right amount of style and sporty flare to cure your seasonal depression. Inspired by the classic, lace-up sneaker its upper combines breathable nylon, leather overlays and a suede toe. Now available in a variety of bright colors it’s hard to choose just one – but don’t worry, no one is making you.”

Without explanation, you can clearly see I was feeling a little daring with this ensemble. I usually find myself experimenting more from the waist down (get your minds out of the gutters!), by opting for staple tops including white and black t-shirts and blouses and then adding a fun, statement pair of shoes - which can sometimes not be so comfortable (I’m a high heel girl at heart.) However, PUMA was kind enough to send over one of their newest styles the Lily Ballet Flat as you see pictured above- and in this case both comfort and creativity ruled here. Yet I’m just beginning to hop on the flat-shoes bandwagon and assumed it would be a challenge to incorporate a pair of activewear flats into my city-slicker inspired wardrobe. Well as it turns out, owning a pair of these cute, cushiony and breathable wonders have saved me from a lot of back-talk and angst from my poor feet. And honestly, the Lily’s have never made me feel more comfortable, which is an element of embodying city chic that I sometimes tend to overlook.
